I have said before that I will vote for Cruz, however I do not like it when people throw labels around without having proof.
Racist/Fascist
Democrats have done that for years without any proof.
I would argue that BHO and his admin are the closest thing we have had to a fascist in recent memory.
Not even obama talked about a national registry. Trump wants a national registry for muslims. He wants to close mosques.

That's what a fascist dictator wants.

I was listening to Hannity bowing to Trump last night in his HOUR interview before Nevada tonight. Amazing!

The worst part is that Trump NEVER answers the hard questions about policy. He rambles until the questioner forgets what they asked. No wonder he doesn't want to be interviewed by Megyn Kelly. Even though she is self-absorbed, she would make him answer the questions.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

Here we have the LEFT defending Ted Cruz. Amazing!!! So, the title is from Red State capturing the Washington Post link. LOL! They are also amazed the LEFT would defend a good man.
Quote:
ARMAGEDDON! The Washington Post Defends Ted Cruz And Rick Tyler While Rubio Helps Trump

Ted Cruz is not running a dirty campaign, despite what Donald Trump and Marco Rubio would argue. But that idea just cost Cruz’s spokesman, Rick Tyler, his job.

First, his opponents are more than willing to make a big deal out of these not-very-big issues because it serves their own political goals to do so. Trump plays them up because he wants people to think that maybe he won Iowa, which he didn’t. Carson plays them up because he wants people to think that he’s actually a good candidate, which he isn’t.

Why? That brings us to the second point: The repetition of the accusation that he’s playing dirty by his opponents and their supporters and some in the media puts his campaign under much greater scrutiny than his opponents. Cruz is now seen as a dirty campaigner, so he has to meet a higher bar than Trump or Carson. Marco Rubio sent an email to voters in South Carolina telling them to look out for dirty tricks from Cruz — a way of getting them to consider anything from Cruz skeptically. This is how politics works; campaigns try to frame one another as low-energy or a “chaos candidate” or whatever, and sometimes it sticks (as in the first example there). But this is what Cruz has been saddled with.

http://www.redstate.com/streiff/2016...o-helps-trump/
Let me just add my own analysis of this issue:

Carson doesn't want to take responsibility that his own staffer leaked he was going home to Florida to get a change of clothes, which is the most unstable image you could put out. And Carson wonders why CNN picked that up and ran with it. What if a staffer in the Cruz camp leaked he was going to Houston to change his pants? Carson out performed himself, and was not going to win or come in ahead of anyone else. He has had a shaky campaign, left twice to do a book tour, the second time going on The View. He's just ridiculous.

Then I looked into the bogus photoshop issue. Not surprised that Establishment backing National Review would have something on it. I was pleasantly surprised to see some intelligent and sane people in the comments pointing out that it was a campaign advertisement and it did indeed depict that Rubio cast the deciding TPA vote that Obama wanted. Indeed, he did so AFTER knowing that Mitch McConnell lied about NO back room deal. That lie of a photoshop job was so over the top stupid, I can't believe there is an argument there. Maybe it is plain to me as I have worked in advertising and saw it for what it really was.

And then we get into the campaign flyer which was modeled off the RNC flyer that the IOWA Governor and Secretary of State used in 2014, same type that Rubio and Joni Ernst used. The envelope had the Cruz campaign address in small letters, because that then makes it legal to send. Maybe a redneck wouldn't know to look for these things. LOL!

The next issue is the fake Facebook page that Rubio and Gowdy claimed that the Cruz campaign had set up, but also said they didn't have proof of that said claim. So, we have a former Prosecutor in Trey Gowdy who is accusing someone before they have the facts. How did that Benghazi hearing work out for Trey? LOL!

Lastly, we get into robocalls regarding Trump's own words on putting the Confederate flag in a museum knowing that 70% of SC want it to stay on capitol grounds, Trump calling it a lie, which it wasn't.

Soooooo, we have these images of trickery and lies when none of them were and it's running, skipping a hopping all over the Internet. It's just amazing how low this country has become.

The only big misstep in my estimation was the Rubio video that Rick Tyler posted. My only take on that is that Rubio has lied so much, it was easy to believe he would be that dumb to say it. Here is what many conservatives and libertarians know about Marco Rubio - written by Justin Amash:

"And while his Senate colleague Marco Rubio pays lip service to inclusivity while actually advocating unwelcoming and unpopular GOP positions from past decades,..."

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

On a good and happy note - JUSTIN AMASH has endorsed Ted Cruz today!

Why I Trust Ted Cruz
Justin Amash

As a libertarian Republican, I have spent several months promoting the candidacy of my friend Senator Rand Paul, who is, in my view, the most passionate defender of our rights on the national stage today. Since his departure from the presidential race, I’ve been asked many times: what now?

It’s easy to withdraw from politics when the positions and priorities of the candidates do not precisely mirror our own. But we owe it to our beliefs to find constitutional conservative political allies who not only respect our philosophy but also fight for our views to be heard.

We have found such an ally in Senator Ted Cruz.

Ted is not a libertarian and doesn’t claim to be. But he is a principled defender of the Constitution, a brilliant strategist and debater who can defeat the Democratic nominee in the general election, and the only remaining candidate I trust to take on what he correctly calls the Washington Cartel.

Give me a link where Trump said he wanted a national registry for Muslims. I looked and I cannot find it.

Insofar as to closing mosques, I can remember the government closing the Aryan Nations or some such "churches" back in the 70's.
If a mosque is sponsoring terrorist activities it should be closed.

I agree with that. However, he threatens people on Twitter just about every day. He isn't the kind of man you would want to put in charge of these kinds of choices. He doesn't have the temperament. He just recently threatened a man for donating to a Super PAC against him.

CNN and Dana Loesch have put out articles about his mafia ties. Just going by his rhetoric, he's coming across as more dangerous than Obama.

If you have read his Twitter page, I wouldn't understand you defending him in anyway.

Trump: 'Absolutely no choice' but to close mosques

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

If anyone knows how underhanded the GOP can be, it would be Ken Cuccinelli

Quote:
What Do Donald Trump and Marco Rubio Have in Common?
Ken Cuccinelli

But an unlikely alliance between two candidates has formed: both Trump and Rubio have joined forces in personal attacks on Ted Cruz’s character.

The voters have clearly framed the race in terms of who can best stand up to the Washington Cartel — a term that rightly describes how our political system has been rigged in favor of the politically correct and connected, but contrary to the Constitution. Because the record shows Trump and Rubio have both worked with, not against, the political corruption in both parties, any distinctions either could draw with Senator Cruz on policy wouldn’t help them with the primary electorate. This leaves one dangerously desperate weapon at their disposal: character attacks.

Re: Sen. Ted Cruz Makes It Official

I am not trying to defend Trump.
However, the hysteria that is being put out by those opposed to him, is insane.
He is doing what he does.
And that is steamroll anyone opposed to him.
I still hope and pray that Cruz can take this thing.

This is shaping up as one of the strangest presidential elections, ever.
I still believe there is a good chance that Hillary wins the delegate count, but does not run.
Then good ol'uncle Joe is there to clean up.

Good God, man, go and read his Twitter account and tell me THAT is not insanity. If you don't want to read them then STOP defending this stupid man.

You are right, Hillary may end of up winning. There is no way on God's green earth I will vote for this charlatan. I wanted to think I could vote for him, many others have said the same, i.e. Erick Erickson for one - but NO MORE. Enough is enough. In the midst of everything he says he standS against, he actually still standS FOR.

1. Against illegal immigration - "The DREAMERS have convinced me.
2. Against abortion - Planned Parenthood does great things.
3. I am a Christian - Forgiveness - I try not to do anything to have to ask for it. LOL!

I could go on and on.

You think I am ticked? You bet I am. I am thoroughly ticked off.
