Mostly I hear how males are affected? What detrimental things does porn do to the women who are hooked on it?

Do you honestly think if there is a woman on here who is viewing or hooked on porn that they are going to answer your question?

What if this man or woman had struggled for a while, perhaps even giving in to the temptation, asking forgiveness, only to return to the temptation, and still wanted to teach others or be used in a leadership role?
How does the church deal with this issue?

Getting back to the question.......

I wonder what the statistics would say about the numbers, if men being addicted to porn was compared to the number of women pursuing or involved in internet affairs?
I know of at least two women who have left their husbands for someone they met online...which tells me they are still looking for an emotional or permanent connection, ultimately, while men tend to just want the sexual gratification. ????

Men are physical(visual); women are emotional(feeling). Therefore, men are more prone to pursue internet pornography and women an internet relationship.
But even at that, we know that for there to be porn for the man to view there must be a woman in the offering, and for their to be an internet affair for a woman to pursue their must be a man in the offering.

See, this is where I see the difference for sure.
I would be very interested in knowing the numbers and not sure where you could find them.
I think men are more into porn for the sexual gratification (the visual to stimulate).
Women are searching for that emotional connection and pictures don't do that for them - they need a live person to connect with.

Most advertising nowadays was once classified as "Soft Porn" not too long ago.
When summer comes around if one is not careful the amount of skin that is shown (forget the beach) leaves nothing to the imagination-both male & female.

In reality in the UPC it depends on who Bro. X is and who he knows. How many times have we seen a pastor of church have an affair with a member of the congregation and only get a slap on the wrist? I know of several who the UPC still holds their license and allows them to pastor or minister.

The best way to keep every one delievered is at the end of every service everyone come together down at the altar and pray for each other.
Rom.15
[1] We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
Matt.6
[13] And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
2Pet.2
[9] The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
If anyone don't want to get delievered then do this. This goes for any kind of sin.1 Cor.5:9: I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:10: Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.11: But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12: For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?13: But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
