My dog died

Sorry to hear about your dog... we got upset when the neighbor's dog died... I can't imagine what it will be like when we lose one of our own.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that people who are not dog lovers don't understand but they become part of our lives and family.

Our beautiful big dog Lady died just a few months ago at around 18-20 years old. She has been a part of our lives since our kids were very little. It was hard to let her go but she had contracted Rocky Mountain Spotted fever about 1 1/2 years ago and that was the beginning of the end for her. Prior to that she was 16-18 years old and went rabbit and mole hunting every day!!!

So sorry for your loss. I have had to go through this and it is very difficult . My cure is to get a puppy.

My puppy is only five years old and I already dread the day when she won't be with me anymore. I'm not even a dog lover either, but Maggie is just different - she's part of my life!
