My dog died

So, I had to put my dog to sleep today. He got me through some very hard times - and was a source of comfort during serious illness.

He was just a dog. So why does my heart feel like it has a hole in it tonight?

Lord, some may say "it was just a dog..."

but to coffee99 he was a companion, he was a friend. Right now Lord, comfort coffee in this time of loss. Fill the void in Coffee's heart.

I am sorry.We had a cute dog taken out of our yard last year.He was our childrens friend.It was a sad time for all.Sorry.

There is no such thing as "just a dog, Coffee99. There is a reason dogs are called mans best friend. I am sorry for your loss.

I can sympathize with you. I had to do this not very long ago. It is a heartwrenching experience. I am sorry for your loss.

It hurts because they become like family and we have emotional bonds with them.

They give so much while asking so little in return.

I have been there and feel your pain.
