Obviously, the scripture refers to more than just a common anointing, since it follows up "mine anointed" with "my prophets."
As Christians we should respect one another, but its dishonest to pretend that God doesn't or didn't expect us to show special respect to and for prophets, priests, ministers. By the way, that particular word "anointed" means: "a consecrated person, as a king, priest or saint,
specifically the
Messiah."
Secondly, there IS some preacher bashing that goes on here. Some do it, some don't. It doesn't help anyone to pretend
that doesn't happen. Two wrongs don't make a right.
