2012 Will Be a Referendum on President Obama
Based on past elections where one candidate was the incumbent president, the data shows that the election is not about choosing one candidate over the other, rather past history points to people voting based on whether voters believe the sitting president is performing well or not. Currently Obama's approval rating is in the mid 40s. Among undecided voters he is rating in the 20s. Unless Obama can turn those numbers around, November doesn't bode well for the incumbent.
