Re: The New World Order
The bad thing is that everybody calls you a nut job when there is time do something and people only open their eyes when it is blatant and undeniable that only a fool would try to deny it.
Then it is too late.

A Bible believing Christian.
I would be uncomfortably lumped in with the tag "Idealist" I suppose, just to give you an answer however vague and ambiguous that may be.
You see, I don't approach the issue by going down a list of the various schools of thought and then choosing a particular school that best matches my current thoughts on the subject.
I just read the book and evaluate its message and seek to find an effective way to integrate the message into the world that I find myself in. Some people do just the opposite - and I did for much of my youth - I tried to pretend that the world around me fit into one of the schools of thought and called it "faith."
What I found was that my "faith" was in the material world and depended upon the events in this world working out to match my expectations. And then, when those events surprised me (as they always do!) I was constantly trying to adapt my theology to a changing world. The alternative was to just pretend that the material world didn't exist as it really does and to pretend that it was all made of Play-Doh allowing me to construct a fantasy world to match some older and out dated school of thought.
I was dissatisfied with both approaches. And so, I have come to see the message of the Scriptures in a different light. The key is what I told you earlier: The Bible tells us what happens, not necessarily what happened or what will happen. It is a template that we can lay upon the events of any age or time period and see how the grace and/or judgement of God is working out at any particular time.
You don't have to have one of Larkin's charts or a Search for Truth Home Bible Study, or the Exploring God's Word Home Bible Study that I used to sell before the UPC was able to buy the rights from the "backsliding" SFT people.
All we need is the grace of God that was, and still is, available and effectual for the salvation of peoples from every dispensation and time.

You know I am very poor but in my thinking 250k is still middle class. How they get anything else I don't know.
But I am concerned with them trying to make a two class system like they have in Mexico

People like you and me just have to learn that there will always be people who are "better" than us. They no more than we do, they understand thing much better than we do and most importantly... they CARE more than we do.
That's what makes them better than us. That's why they are allowed to drive big SUVs without feeling guilt. They are on their way to important meetings that you and I would not understand. That's why their utilities won't have "carbon offsets" - because their meetings in their air conditioned offices and have to be comfortable while our comfort isn't a consideration.
You and I won't understand this. They are simply better than us. They are LIBERALS.

I know humans like to systematize everything and find order to the world that surrounds us and to our lives in general. And to a certain extent I agree with that. We do find certain laws that we can count on like the law of gravity. The law of reaping and sowing. The tides. The rotation of the planets. The seasons.
Not only does creation reveal a God who is very orderly but we find the same in God's, from the tabernacle plans, the law of Moses, the three step plan of salvation that in which we take part in a symbolic way in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection ( ) everything has meaning and purpose.
I said all that to say that I think there is some type of order to the way God has dealt with mankind and find dispensations interesting but I haven't studied them the subject enough to come to a firm decision.

Now are we not seeing the same thing with the economy? You have to wonder if the conspiracy theorists were not off when they asserted that there is a global conspiracy to reshape the world through crisis and chaos.
------
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown hopes to forge a "global new deal" with President Obama to rescue the world's economy when he makes his first visit to the White House since Obama's inauguration.
The Times of London reports Brown, who arrives Tuesday, will reportedly introduce a plan requiring massive spending on a worldwide scale.
Brown's 21st century deal calls for "universal action to prevent the crisis spreading" and "action to kick-start lending so that families and businesses can borrow again." It also requires "reform of international regulation to close regulatory gaps" and "the creation of an international early warning system."

Well considering his tax relief plan for those under 250K is several times less that Bush's. I would consider it a tax increase.

Do you think the Bible predicts a "cash-less" system? And if so, what's wrong with "cash-less"? I do practically everything that way now.

The good and the bad and the ugly....the good...no cash means harder to sell drugs, stolen property and weapons. The bad....everything you do is recorded (no privacy)...the ugly....it leads to the mark of the beast.
