The KJV explains why Elizabethan was chosen by God to translate Hebrew Aramaic and Greek? What about the Reina Valera, the Vamvas, and the Louis Segond?

Re: Effective evangelists?

Sean, what do you think about French Bible translators like Pierre Robert Olivétan who translated the first French Bible in 1535?

Re: Effective evangelists?

Sean, your theory is that the KJV translators were 1500 years closer to the apostles therefore they knew the Greek better than anyone living today. So, what about Pierre Robert Olivétan?

Re: Effective evangelists?

Keep in mind the subject of the thread.....we have spent most of our time off the subject(belief systems)

Re: Effective evangelists?

Howbout what I mentioned on how to teach the entire bible to a house full of sinners, without having to read a single verse.....

This is about creating effective evangelism techniques and firing up sinners to be teachers someday.

Re: Effective evangelists?

It takes me 10 minutes to glance at my stuff(prepare), then go present it, I study as the sinners read to me...the side notes are in my Bible already.

It is perfect for the working/family man to still pull of a HBS a week...

1 Bible study a week equals approx. winning like 15 souls a year if we are consistently teaching...also remember spiritual descendants are involved(big time).

1 teacher can be responsible for 1,000 souls being converted in their lifetime, just by teaching 1 HBS a week!
