He reads from a teleprompter better than most other politicians. He usually dresses very well except for the "mom jeans" atthe All Star Game.

Theres 2 good things about him.

Re: President Obama

Anyone for a run on the bank or the stock market?
We could all pull out our cash and sell really cheap all our shares.
That is what I feel happened to our Nation with the vote for me
we are all in dire financial times and a recession. People and companies
began to close and sell and cut out jobs they felt were non essential.
This did put our Nation in a dilema.
I worked for the state at the time and saw many people laid off and then money
used for other things which could have been rerouted to keeping people employed.
No one wants to take a risk and buy a new car or new house when they think
everything is going down the drain and they won't be able to pay for it.
Its a shame but honestly makes a good campaign when you then are the
magician pulling the country out of it. It makes you a hero. It is a really
great political move when you do it right before an election.
I remember in past elections where presidents got us out of wars right off the bat and it made them heros. Everyone was so glad they voted for them.
I am sure they are saving the way out of recession and the healthcare victory for just before the next voting session.lol.

To his credit, the recession is ending sooner than later. Sure his actions have been criticized, but his actions reflected LEADERSHIP!

Outside of that, I am not sure our President has accomplished much.

The Healthcare Reform could have been his chance to shine as a leader by coming out with a specific plan.

HIS SPECIFIC PLAN WOULD HAVE REFLECTED LEADERSHIP. The LACK of HIS SPECIFIC PLAN DEMONSTRATES A DISAPPOINTING LACK OF LEADERSHIP.

With 2 wars and the threat of a third one looming, healthcare reform in limbo, the lingering national unemployment problem and all other issues that have appeared, our President is not is not showing leadership.

He has recently stated that the Democrats are in trouble, in reference to the 2010 elections.

Well Mr. President, just like for the prior President, if your party is in trouble, it is YOUR fault.

GWB made VERY BAD DECISIONS. In fact, I AM STILL ANGRY about his bad decisions and the deception that he and his cronies fostered.

That being said, YOU, Mr. President are equally as maddening as GWB, but in a different way, as LATELY you seem to be utterly INCAPABLE of making a stand on anything and sticking to it.

AMERICA NEEDS LEADERSHIP!

OUR WORLD NEEDS LEADERSHIP!

BE THE LEADER THAT YOUR CHARISMA, MANNERISMS AND INFLUENCE PROMISES YOU TO BE...

OR GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!

Sadly, I too predict our beloved President to be a one-term President.

If his next three years are anything like the first one, there will simply be no justification for this Republican to cross party lines to vote for him.

I love our President. I support our President. I respect our President and my Commander In Chief. I pray for our President.

I suggest we all pray for him and not hope for his demise, for wherever he fails, America fails.

God bless America!

God bless President Obama.
I'm glad your recession is ending...but mine is not! I really do not see any improvement in our government at all. I do pray for the leadership of this nation. I would never hope failure for anyone but I just do not see any victory in this administration. All I hear from the leader of this nation is

Re: President Obama

Uhm yah, the recession hasn't ended and won't be ending soon.

Also BHO's policies - such as forcing CEOs to restructure their salaries and bonus' will only cause the recession to get worse and last longer. States will lose tax revenue because of this and will have to make more budget cuts and raise more taxes.

Perhaps JD would like to edit the post and provide accurate information.
