It it done- President Barack Obama
Obama was just sworn in as the 44th President. Although I did not vote for him, he is now my president. I pray that he will be wise in his disicions. I pray for his protection as well as his family. Not only does Obama have the weight of this country, he has the weight of the world on his shoulders. We need to pray for our country and its leaders like never before. Their desicions will affect us all. I thought Rick Warren did an excellent job!!!

... All we can do is pray that he will make wise decisions... no matter what decisions he makes concerning our country, we have to keep in mind that being God's children, God will take care of us no matter what....
I don't care for the man's politics... but I do pray for him... He's leading our country for the next 4 possibly 8 years.... Lord do help us!

He didn't get my vote........but he WILL have my prayers.
I truly hope I am not wrong, but for all his liberal tendencies, I don't think he will be the "satan" many conservatives have made him out to be. Time will tell, certainly, but I hope and pray that we are surprised by the way he will do things.

On a Cleveland radio station this morning, they were making some tongue-in-cheek comments about this election and inauguration. They played what they said was a "revised" version of Hail to the Chief. It was actually Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar.
I know they were poking fun at how so many are referring to President Obama as our "messiah." But it really is kinda scary - the whole rock star following he seems to have. Hollywood is sure enamored with him. What is everyone going to do when they realize he's really just a flesh and blood guy who doesn't have supernatural powers?
I didn't vote for him either... I voted third party. But I will pray for him and he has my support.
