I Bought a House!!!

The past couple of weeks I've been contemplating going back into homeownership!

I started looking around Collierville, but the prices are way overrated and since I'm not concerned about the school district I started looking in Cordova.

I found one that I liked and recognized the area was close to a guy in my department, so I asked him if he knew the street. He said it was one over from his and his MIL had a house for sell on that street (not the one I originally saw).

So, after work Friday I went by and saw his MIL's house (she moved about six months ago into a smaller condo). I LOVED IT!!!!

It's at a GREAT price, excellent condition and just right for me.

All I will do is paint it "my" colors, clean the carpets and move in!

My lease is up in August, so it will work out just perfectly and the BIG blessing is that my house payments will be almost $300 LESS than I'm paying in rent now.

Very nice! I love the brick.

It needs some color on the inside. What are you thinking of for the kitchen?

Already have most of the colors picked out!

Living & Dining Room - Slippery Rock - - a warm taupe.
Kitchen - Curry Green - a dark leaf color.
Master BR - a lighter taupe - almost silver/grey color - - bought a new comforter that ice blue color.

Master bath - - not sure yet.

Upstairs BR's - not sure yet either.

Renda - I'm so excited for you! Although we've never met - I've seen pictures of your home when decorated for Christmas, your daughter's wedding, etc - The home just seems to "fit" you! Congratulations! Enjoy the painting, decorating, etc.... It will be so much fun for you! God is good!
