that is one view i'm trying to understand the differences. if that logic isn't true then ethnic israel is entitled to inherit the land whether they are believers in messiah or not. is that your view?

I believe the land of Israel belongs to Abraham's seed after the flesh through Jacob.
From my point of view NT teaches that natural Isreal was a type of spiritual Isreal. The church. Jesus said the OT spoke of him. If we are the children of Abraham by faith, spiritual Isreal. Isreal has become the church. Then it goes to say that the land promise was also a type of the kingdom of God spiritualy.
Of course all you that believe in a coming earthly throne will not want to agree with this.

The church is the elect of this age, but never fear God will fulfill every promise made to Abraham, including the "...graphing of them back into the olive tree...." They are currently out of favor, but God's anger is not forever, "...all Israel will be saved..." Why do you think the hatred of the world is on Israel??? The focus of the world will create the opportunity for God to display His power and faithfullness. It may not be long now.

God blinded their eyes, to the saving of the nations, He is well able to give them sight, and remove the vail from their eyes. His focus is the elect from the Gentiles for this age, but He is not finished with Israel nor His creation.
