In
Genesis 15:18 we read:
n the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:
A promise of land was given to Abram in
Genesis 12:7; 13:14-18; 15:1-21 and 17:1-8. It is called an everlasting covenant in
Genesis 17:15-21
This promise was also given to Isaac in
Genesis 26:1-5
The promise was given to Jacob/Israel in
Genesis 28:13-15 and 35:9-13
In
Psalm 105:6-11 again it speaks of this being an everlasting covenant.
