Gary Blacksher have been with us the past two Sunday nights.
(He's pretty good... even if he IS from Texas) ...
...
We have had an awesome, sovereign move of God both services.
This past week-end ….
5 prayed through and 3 baptized.
One man who was sent home Saturday from the hospital… to die…(cancer).. was brought to the altar in a wheelchair, by his un-saved daughter.
He is 57 yrs old… looks 75-80… weighs 97 lbs now…
We held up his hands… laid hands on him… He immediately began talking in tongues. I do not believe he had ever heard anyone talk in tongues before!
The mercy and love of God is SOOOO marvelously amazing! ! ! (I baptized him a few months earlier)
His daughter took him back to the comfortable chair we had brought in for him, and in moments
he slumped over… unconscious.
His wife and daughter began calling aloud for help…. One said “He’s dying”…. The other said …
”He’s already dead”…
We rushed to his side…. Brother Blacksher said when he laid his hand on the man’s forehead, it was ice-cold. I took his hand in mine.. it was also cold.
A visitor who was sitting close by, began calling loudly for someone to do CPR....
But….”
PRAYER WAS MADE - BY THE CHURCH - UNTO GOD - FOR HIM…”
After several minutes he opened his eyes, looking startled, yet peaceful, and muttered …”Where am I “
He later told his wife that while he was “out”……. “I saw the Lord – I talked with Him!”
This all happened BEFORE the preaching! ! !...

We later baptized a man and his wife, who we have been reaching for – FOR TEN YEARS
She is a SS teacher in the BIG First Baptist Church.
I put them both in the baptistery at the same time.
Baptized husband first… then wife…
BOTH came out of the water talking in tongues!
He staggered around in the tank like a drunk man.
She later told me she had already received the “Holy Spirit” ….. BUT …
NEVER like this.
Both Sunday nights, we had over 50 un-saved adult visitors.
We can hardly wait until next week-end!
