Does coming from a minister's family give a minister a different prospective on the laity? Is is an advantage or disadvantage?

Dear Blue,
It would be an intersting poll to be sure...why don't you start one? I, was born Laity, and then was in Direct Ministry as a Pastor's wife and I will say that my take on things from that perspective was a shock to my system.
Had I ever known how horrible people can be in church trouble/conflicts I would have been like David and lost hope...except God showed me their end. That is all I have to say. Had I been raised in a ministry family I would have chosen another profession sooner I imagine
Blessings, Rhoni
