Having problems with Firefox

I'm having constant problems with Firefox. I don't know what causes it, but it freezes on me, and when I shut it down to start over, it tells me that it's running but not responding and to start my computer over.

The other day, it wouldn't come up even after that, but when I clicked on it to open it, an error box would come on saying it committed an error and to I want to send it to Microsoft or not.

I just don't get it. I'm forced to use IE when FF quits on me, and I hate IE!

Disable all your addones and themes.

Add them in one by one and see if that narrows the culprit.

Some addons are memory hogs......

I Began the plunge to change the lappy to Linux last night.
It will have FF after I am done!

So you don't have flash installed? Maybe that is the problem. YOu might be going to a website that requires a plug in and the browser freaks

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I doubt that is the case as the browser would ask to install the plug-in to view the media.

I would recommend downloading the lastest version of firefox for your OS, de-installing firefox completely and re-installing the latest downloaded version. Sounds like you have a corrupted config file for firefox.

Best of luck!
