Have you declared your impossibilities possible?
Impossibilities! We all face them. Impossible situations come to everyone. Any one of you have a story to tell of the brick wall you came up against on that particular day. The day you got the wind knocked out of you when the doctor came in and said that word, "Cancer", that made you tingle with fear to your very core. That moment that the bills were due, and there was no money left to pay them, and nowhere to turn. That time you felt that God had all but abandoned you and you were all alone in this huge world.
We humans are people of habit. We learn by experience, and sad to say, we learn by negative experiences more than by positive experiences. So when we find that impossibility standing there looking us square in the eye's saying heart attack, we tend to remember all of those we know that died of a heart attack. If we truly are fortunate enough to have one of Jobs comforters there with us, they remind us of aunt Suzie, and Cousin Benny who both just happened to die, and SURPRISE!! SURPRISE!!, they were the same age as you!
So how do we change? We are a people that "lives by their faith". We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. How do we find peace and comfort in our time of facing these impossibilities?
One writer stated well when he said, "Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me." The secret is in your declaration. What are you speaking? Is your conversation one of defeat? Or is it one that state, "with God ALL things are possible"! What is your confession of faith?
Are you declaring your impossibilities possible???
