ABC's Wife Swap Episode #314 MEEKS/HOOVER

Hello Friends, I am Steve Hoover. My Family was recently on ABC's Wife Swap Program.

Since I know several posters here on AFF I promised to engage to answer any questions viewers of the show may still have.

We have recieved amazing response from all over the US from both Christians and non Christians.
I will say in advance that God has used our participation in multiple ways which we will further share on our website at http://thehooverhouse.net in coming days.

Also, the ninetyandnine.net interviews can be found on our website or here http://www.ninetyandnine.net/cover/20070212.html
and here
http://www.ninetyandnine.net/cover/20070219.html

These interviews contain many answers and behind the scenes filming activity.

Thank you for your interest.

In Jesus,
Steve Hoover

After reading the 90&9 interview, I'm sorry I missed the show. I fought back tears reading the interview and the testimony. How many people would have refused to walk through that door. I am so proud of your family. I'll have to catch the rerun...

Steve,

Thanks for accepting the invitation to stop by and visit! I enjoyed watching the program and as soon as my work life and home life slow down a bit I will have some comments to make about it!

Great job and my family was really proud of you and your family!
**I do have 1 tiny question** Did anyone besides me and my little brain feel a little weirded out when mom had rock parent's children do the pledge to the Bible? Here's why. I understood that the UPC parent's wouldn't go against a "religious" conviction and wear pants yet they wanted the other kids to pledge to a Bible??? I thought that this was a little double-sided and not fair to the other family. Don't get me wrong, I hope that ALL will come to the Lord and even pledge obedience to The Bible..but to force it?? Hmmm, not for me.
As for the rest of the show, the family was simply wonderful, funny, and enjoyable. They represented well! Kudos!

Glad to hear more good reports.

Kristin and I request prayer for a contact who says she is hungry for God, and Kristin is meeting with her tomorrow afternoon.
She was an aquaintance prior to seeing us on the show, but now has written us saying she is convinced she wants God in her life in a more real way.

God Bless,

Steve Hoover
