A Mind Full of Matter...

I was pondering the power of God's Word last night. When I read my Bible I really feel life flowing from it's pages into me. It is a strength to the mind and a medicine for the soul.

So many folks suffer from problems that take root in their mind. So many become twisted by emotional scars that are born from abuse. So many suffer from pain in the body that drains hope away their mind and leaves them without strength. Many have turned to vice to somehow find meaning and feel something they are missing.

I find it interesting that should they apply the Word to their mind that many of these issues would be overcome by the Power of the Word of God and the Life it brings into one's mind.

I am NOT against mental health facilities or Doctors or Counseling but I DO believe that many folks who suffer would find the healing they need rooted in the Word of God if they would begin to read and study daily...

Many Folks who are bound by sin would be freed if they would simply apply God's Word in their heart & mind...

Pro 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
Pro 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Pro 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
Pro 4:21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
Pro 4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

Sounds good to me!

Hiding God's word in our hearts will keep us from sinning agianst him. If we're not sinning against Him, then we are most likely not sinning aginst ourselves are we? Not sinning cuts out the burden of guilt.
