These are Sinclair media owned stations. This recently made the news when one (or more) anchor accused Sinclair of forcing its anchors to read a script written by Sinclair media denouncing fake news.

The online radical leftwing Deadspin published an article about it, claiming Sinclair was forcing its anchors to become "soldiers in Trump's war in the media."

ThinkProgress and a few other lib rags have pushed this as an attempt from the Trump administration to create propaganda stations.

I will take it one step further.

This "left" VS "right" is all fabricated. There is nothing you can vote for. Republicans love "free" money as much as Demarcates. They cannot stop spending.

So yes you are correct; at some point the real Christians will have to turn off the "news" or maybe we can start our own network. My friends say I am a nut but I firmly believe the universe is slowing down. It spins slower and slower.

It is so with this country. We started so fast but as time goes on people want to believe a lie. Most people cannot even think for over 10 minutes on something. This is why the news is as it is. It is all lies and no one wants the truth anymore.

I'm reminded of the Quakers and Christian Anarchists. They do not believe in voting. They believe it entangles them in the affairs and cares of this life. They pray for leaders, elections, etc. But they don't vote. Some vote only on "issues" on local ballets. But they don't vote for candidates.

I wonder what would happen if we actually realized (made real to ourselves) that we are indeed the Kingdom of God and that we are not of this world? Sure, we enjoy certain rights and privileges based on what earthly nation we're born in. But ultimately, we are not of this world, or of any of it's governments, or systems.

Ultimately God determines who will rule and when. And the idea that we have a choice in who rules and who doesn't is an illusion anyway. If we actually saw through all the illusions around us, we'd find peace and unity.

There seems to be a balance someplace.

We cannot leave the USA and move to Costa Rico like Clinton. Running away is not the answer. I do agree with you that we live in the world but we cannot be tangled up in the world. We do are part as Christians. We vote for the best candidate as far as we can see. We support our leaders in prayer. We obey the laws of the land and even pay taxes.

But as the thread opened with; the slanted news called out the news organization that will not broadcast lies. It sounds like someone wants to be the "salt of the earth."

We die daily to the flesh. he cannot live in the flesh. We cannot lie. We have to stand for truth but I do not have to support those liar's.
