Sister, he already had his reward while he was alive. He lived luxuriously, he escaped situations which other popular Trinitarian ministers had not. The sadness is that while he was alive he had NO fear of the Almighty God.

I did not agree with Eddie Long not in the least but why run him down? Everyone knows his story...however I am sure he has perhaps kin folks and others that seen in different than how I personally felt about him....however he is now in the hands of God...
I am not one to set on death bed repentance but I am not God...perhaps as he lay dying he may have repented...I don't know....
Several years back there was a preacher that undermined us...sold a church building...pocketed the money then took some church lots and built him a house...caused us untold heartaches... however, my husband is such a kind man and has so much patience he said to me...we will wait for God to take action....years went by but death came around...and as he lay dying he asked his family to come get both of us...As we walked in the room we knelt down by his bed and he said there words, "Missionaries, I stole from you all...lied to you all...done you wrong....I have no way to make it right...If you forgive me I will stand before our Lord forgiven....if you do not forgive me I will stand before Him as a robber, a sinful man....a cheater... My husband looked at him and said, Pastor...... I forgave you long ago....rest in peace....
We were not the only ones he did wrong....however some were not around closeby...
I have no idea all that Eddie Long did in life only what I have heard...however I do hope at some point in his life he had obeyed the gospel and do hope he repented become he closed his eyes in death....

In life he may have showed no fear...however who knows the fear he may have felt in the last hours of his life?
