  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

this school was formerly known as "The Rock" if my memory serves me correctly.... a previous report from NFCF said the school was eventually going to keep the JCM name alive.... I guess it's since changed...

Having clicked on their Bible Studies link I went to the one called "From Eternity To Eternity". This is on the Godhead written by Irvin Baxter.
I quote this interesting statement from him.

Irvin Baxter:

Many people have taught that Son-ship began at Bethlehem. However, that is not true. The way we know that it is not true is because of Hebrews 1:1-2:

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds;

The worlds were made by the manifestation called the Son. In the beginning was the Word, the Expression. That is when Son-ship began. And God used His finite form to create all things finite. Son-ship then ruled from the beginning until the end. Then cometh the end, when the Son delivers the kingdom back to the Father that it might be revealed that God always was all in all.

Isn't that what you believe too or is that another Mike that used to discuss that?

I think the Word does not exist without the Spirit to give it. It's a type of personification of the one who gives the expression. I think "by whom he made the worlds" is the eternal Spirit that was incarnate as the Son of God.

Quote:
Psalm 29:3-9

3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
The God of glory thunders;
The LORD is over many waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars,
Yes, the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon.
6 He makes them also skip like a calf,
Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild ox.
7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness;
The LORD shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.
9 The voice of the LORD makes the deer give birth,
And strips the forests bare;
And in His temple everyone says, “Glory!”

In verse 3, the voice of YHWH, God, and YHWH are all equated. Then it follows as so: "the voice of YHWH breaks...YHWH splinters" "the voice of YHWH shakes...YHWH shakes"

There is no separation of God's voice from Himself.
The above was cut and pasted from http://www.christiandiscussionforums...3&postcount=23

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day

The voice of God wasn't walking in the garden. God was speaking to them in the garden.

Zech 7:12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets:..

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Way to go Prax, you sniffed out an argument for giving kudos to this site.

I have always been leery of anything aONLINE school with a poorr site.
