Quote:
"1 Sam. 20:30 Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said unto him, Thou son of the perverse rebellious woman, do not I know that thou hast chosen the son of Jesse to thine own confusion, and unto the confusion of thy mother's nakedness? 31 For as long as the son of Jesse liveth upon the ground, thou shalt not be established, nor thy kingdom. Wherefore now send and fetch him unto me, for he shall surely die."

Saul had a hatred for David because he knew that God had departed from him and had turned to David. He had gone to a place of no turning back and he hated that a new day was shining on another. Envy is rottenness of the heart and it is the heart of Satan. Satan knows he has, but a short time and his time is nearing an end. It is very likely that envy is some of the driving force of our adversary.
Satan knows that his time has past and it is now us that is to reign. Just like David's journey in fleeing the wrath of Saul, we may now be fleeing the wrath of the adversary. There is going to be the day that our coronation is going to be taken place. The anointing is already here (Holy Ghost), but we must endure until the day we receive the crown. Be not weary in well doing for in due season you shall reap if you faint not. If you are living for God then keep up the good fight.
