Re: Trey Gowdy is exposed as a fraud
57% of Republican primary voters do not support Amnesty. Rubio's path to the White House doesn't exist.
Not surprising that Gowdy would return a favor concerning Terry Sullivan. But, to hang his hat on the Gang of 8 stunt with Marco Rubi-noochia is too bad.
After Rubio lied about Ted Cruz's role in the Gang of 8 - he will never have my support - ever.

Re: Trey Gowdy is exposed as a fraud
I will give Trey Gowdy credit for uncovering the Hillary emails while investigating Benghazi, but he does support Amnesty.
Mark Levin nailed him back in 2013:
Quote:
Mark Levin scolds Gowdy, Goodlatte for putting ‘DREAMers’ over border security
The House subcommittee — that would be a subcommittee controlled by the Republicans in the House, and headed by a Republican from Virginia, Bob Goodlatte — is caving, ladies and gentlemen,” Levin said. “So here we go with comprehensive immigration reform in pieces. And so they’ll pretend it’s not really comprehensive — that they’re addressing an issue at a time because we’re being condescended to by the House Republican leadership, including Mr. Goodlatte. But it’s not just Goodlatte. Many of you like this Trey Gowdy, right. You’ve seen him at the IRS hearing. He’s a former assistant U.S. attorney, I believe. Very effective, but sadly turns out he’s a RINO. Yes he is. Mr. Gowdy, yes you are.”

So, you have Mike Huckster Huckabee saying he will stay until after Iowa. Courting evangelicals while supporting the GOPe, Mike wants to stay in to siphon off votes from Ted Cruz.
In walks Trey Gowdy, who has a reputation in SC and wants to siphon off votes from Ted Cruz in that state.
Looks like the GOPe and Hillary are more afraid of Ted Cruz than anyone else. Interesting.

Their hit on Cruz has begun. I'm so disappointed in Gowdy. Just another establishment hack.

I would never vote for a person, i.e. Rubio, who intentionally and blatantly lied about my candidate. He went way too far with that. I just cannot support him ever.
Rubio WILL NOT take on the DC Establishment. We don't need that. We need a fighter, with experience. Someone who has taken the hits and is still standing. I can only support Ted Cruz.

BTW, remember when Rubio was criticizing Ted Cruz for voting for the USA Freedom Act? Mike Lee called Rubio out for being dead wrong about it.
"Look, Marco Rubio has been attacking Ted Cruz on the USA Freedom Act, for his vote in favor of the USA Freedom Act, and he's been doing so by suggesting that this has somehow made America less safe. It simply is not true and, look, I'm really good friends with both of these guys, I really like both of them, but Marco's wrong on this. He's just dead wrong."
Well, Trey Gowdy voted WITH Ted Cruz on the bill.
So, the question:
Why is Rubio so excited about the support of someone who did things they claim hurt our national defense?

Let's follow the money.
Quote:
Jeb Bush PAC starts spending, gives $123K to GOP in early primary states
In addition, the Bush PAC gave $5,200 each to individual Republican candidates, such as U.S. Sens. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, Rob Portman of Ohio and Tim Scott of South Carolina.
GOP House members who also were beneficiaries of Right to Rise PAC money were U.S. Reps. Barbara Comstock of Virginia, Trey Gowdy of South Carolina, Frank Guinta of New Hampshire, Joe Heck of Nevada, Mia Love of Utah, Martha McSally of Arizona, Elise Stefanik and Lee Zeldin of New York, and David Young of Iowa. They also received $5,200 apiece.

I can see how Mia Love has turned into such a Rhino as well.
Look for Tim Scott and Kelly Ayotte to endorse Marco Rubio. Governor Nikki Haley will also side with the Establishment.

Mark Levin is right when he says that ultimately only the States can fix this country.

Sad because Scott seemed to be leaning towards Trump initially. He hosted a Trump event. Someone must have corrected him.
