More Proof of Media's Bias Against Republicans
Quote:
A sweeping study of some 130,213 news articles on the 2012 presidential match between President Obama and Mitt Romney has proven anew that there was a strong pro-Democratic bias in the U.S. and international press.
|
Quote:
"Overall, media reporting contained more frequently positive statements about the Democrats than the Republicans. Overall, the Republicans were more frequently the object of negative statements," wrote the study authors, Their conclusion: "The Republican Party is the most divisive subject in the campaign, and is portrayed in a more negative fashion than the Democrats."
|
This shouldn't surprise anyone. The media's been in the Democrats corner for decades.

And in other news, it was reported that Fox News has never had anything good to say about President Obama

Re: More Proof of Media's Bias Against Republicans
Y'all are really gonna commit to twaddling about the two 'parties' joined at the hip while Rome burns, huh? May as well get a laugh about it--16 minute mark, right after break. Why these pols (Kerry, in this case) aren't being taken out and shot is beyond me

Re: More Proof of Media's Bias Against Republicans
It's been a while since I was very active on here. Interesting how JD, WII, Shazam or whatever his/her name is, and the other woman dominate the conversation on here to defend every action of the President, promote wild conspiracy theories, promote skewed economic data, and tout the evils of Imperialist and Colonialist America and Israel and how we are the source of all that's wrong in the world. Very interesting evolution of this political talk.
Once it was quite an invigorating conversation here. We used to talk about the news of the day and debate it rigorously. I can only assume the imbalance here is now because the oxygen has been sucked out of the room by the usual suspects. When I look at the thread titles it's a menu of yawners. Maybe an interesting political topic (thank you pressing on) but usually a BUNCH of sleepers.
Anyway. Carry on boys and girls. This sandbox is all yours.

Amazing how nothing gets posted on here without someone from the Justice League responding within minutes...y'all are like hall monitors in Middle School.

Re: More Proof of Media's Bias Against Republicans
db, for my part, i am just here to challenge peoples' premises; i doubt we believe much differently really. Timmy had me on ignore, for a while...
so, nothing personal. Iron sharpens iron. Just because someone is disagreeing with you does not mean that you don't have an audience full of agreement. i applaud you for the courage of your convictions; i am just here to test them. i will say that since you never seem to reply, but only react, or retort, this might be self-fulfilling to an extent.

Re: More Proof of Media's Bias Against Republicans
well, i notice that i can't generally get a reply; it's either crickets or rhetorical ranting. What if a "Conspiracy theorist" really is just "questioning the statements of proven liars?"
