Where is the revival?

So where is it? Not talking about the typical scheduled "revival services" but is there any place where there is a genuine outbreak of revival going on TODAY?

China. 200 million Christians, and i am guessing mostly all persecuted for their faith. Good luck finding a 'Sunday Christian' in China! But really, if you would just give half of the attention that your pets now receive to someone in need, you would experience revival!

um, might help to see that 'revival' has more than one def--the emo kind, the...emo kind...etc. "Revival" for me is found in "need somewhere to sleep tonight?" so, depends what you mean.

What we see in Acts is what we today call "revival". The reason we call it "revival" instead of normal is because - lets face it - the church in America is bot normally in a book of Acts mode. Sure we have Pentecostal experiences, but hey when was the last time you heard of a meeting that resulted in several THOUSAND conversions in one meeting? Or where the spread of the gospel within just a few months threatens to shut down the primary sin business in town, in turn threatening the entire ungodly social and political order?

That's what we call REVIVAL, and I'm wondering if there's any revival going on in the US?

Revival means the Church is dying...or dying out. I prefer the word RESTORATION.

So the long and short of it is... no revival taking place in America that anyone knows about.

Several thousand saved in one meeting only took place one in Acts. It was the exception, not the rule. Paul did not make thousands as his ideal.

Like I said, no revival going on today. Sad, really. We'd rather debate the fine points of what revival is, precisely because we cannot say "Yes, revival is breaking out" anywhere that we know of.
