Alaska

I just got a pre-approval letter for a home in Palmer, Alaska. Do we have any Alaskan natives on this forum that could share information about your home state?

Re: Alaska

There are plenty of places in the lower 48 where there is plenty of hunting and fishing. Just curious why you would choose Alaska for that reason alone. Although, it is a place that would be really neat to visit, I think.

Re: Alaska

I lived up there for awhile. Fairbanks, not Palmer.

Palmer's warmer.

What's with the urge to move up to Alaska? It's not easy.

Actually hunting and fishing (although they are great in Alaska) isn't the sole reason for me wanting to move up there. The beauty and the remoteness make me wanna move up there.

I really like the beauty of Alaska. I am a disabled vet and I have no ties to a job, so it would be like a retirement place for me to live.
