Four Years: What Has Been Accomplished?

Besides getting reelected, killing Bin Laden and bailing out GM, what can be pointed to as this president's achievements in four years?

Sigh sigh sigh.... Another educated GOPer using the big S word. Of course I am not talking about poo poo. I am talking about socialism. http://www.politicususa.com/obama-co...ak-reagan.html

"In January, Bloomberg reported that corporate after-tax profits had grown 171% under President Obama. That’s more than any president since World War II."

From the Bloomberg article:
"U.S. corporations’ after-tax profits have grown by 171 percent under Obama, more than under any president since World War II, and are now at their highest level relative to the size of the economy since the government began keeping records in 1947, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Profits are more than twice as high as their peak during President Ronald Reagan’s administration and more than 50 percent greater than during the late-1990s Internet boom, measured by the size of the economy."

What are you people going to complain about when our economy turns around?

Re: Four Years: What Has Been Accomplished?

We've been waiting four plus years. The admin has been promising a better economy throughout. Said unemployment would be low 2-3 years into the admin. Growth was negative the last quarter of 2012. Keep hoping for change. Hasn't happened. Doubt it will with these policies.

What will be your excuses then?

You guys said the same thing in Nov of 2008 and it has not turned around yet. If it does not turn around, will you admit you were wrong about Obama?

Are you kidding me?

These Obama supporters have had both eyes gouged, their brains lobotomized, and their ear drums punctured. Mind numbed robots saying over and over: "Hope and Change, Hope and Change, It's Bush's Fault, It's Bush's Fault, You Didn't Build That, You Didn't Build That, Obama Is Not A Socialist, Obama Is Not A Socialist, Top One Percent, Top One Percent, Middle Class Will Not Pay More Taxes, Middle Class Will Not Pay More Taxes, Need More Revenues, Need More Revenues..."

Its slowly turning around. Everyone thinks the situation we in is like a vw beetle that we can just whip around and everything will be ok. Its more like an aircraft carrier that takes 4 miles to turn around.

I will admit I was wrong when you actual prove you were wrong about the GOP/Reagan/Supply Side/Trickledown economic way of thinking. Like the source I posted said, corporate profits are up %174. Were are the jobs?

Do you know the difference between a profit and a profit margin? Obviously not or you would be able to see through this propaganda.

HISTORY---it's easy to find---shows that 21 million jobs were created between December 1982 and June 1990. What Bush did in the 2000s was not Reaganomics. He cut taxes but he increased spending. That was not supply side. And history shows that that was his undoing. Reaganomics worked and history says so. You can't argue with the results.
