Prayer request
Sorry for putting this on the "Express Lane" called the Fellowhip Hall rather than the prayer request page, but the need is urgent.
My 14 yr old grandson was severely burn yesterday in a freak explosion. He was at an uncles house where they were having a bonfire. Someone, it is believed, threw something in the fire that caused a huge explosion Seth was burned severely on his face and arms. ER in Chattanooga says its 1st and 2nd degree burns (they think) but won't know for sure until he is assessed in Augusta. He was airlifted to Augusta, GA last night. I got to see him at the hospital before he was airlifted. He is talking and alert, but in a lot of pain and swelling. Will be going to Augusta on Tuesday.
Your prayers are appreciated and I know from experience there are people on AFF who know how to touch God in prayer.

Thanks, Bro. Eastman. Since Indiana is right next door to heaven I'm sure all will be well. I was raised on the banks of the Ohio...Jeffersonville.

Re: Prayer request
One Accordian,
I will certainly be praying. I can't imagine the pain and suffering that comes with burns that severe. Please keep us updated on his condition.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Re: Prayer request
Touching the throne on behalf of your grandson. May the healing balm spread over his body, and toxins and infection be eradicated by the hand of Jesus.
