What, exactly, is "Original Sin," besides the basis, prolly, of your religion? How does it impact you? If you have no idea, please Google it, or read http://www.wikihow.com/Recognize-the...ristian-Models
a synopsis of Matthew Fox and others, on O.S., and comment below if you feel led, ty.

Sorry, I don't remember ever not answering that question. I've answered it for others, several times.
I am here to provoke thought. To make people think about what they believe, or say they believe, to try to articulate it clearly, and to consider the implications of it. I am also posting things I believe, from time to time (usually in response to a question). I will, of course, stop that, if I am ever asked to by admins. (In fact, I have gotten some specific requests, and I am complying with them.)

So, why quote Hebrews in your sig, if you don't believe the Bible?
I don't quite get that part.
And of course, I certainly don't expect anyone to comment on Original Sin here, it being the basis of their belief and all...so may as well hijack : )

It applies to me. That's all. How it applies is quite likely different from the original intent, but that doesn't matter. Think of it as irony, if you like.
And I don't disbelieve everything in the Bible! I've explicitly said that some of it is good and true.

Irony, indeed. You haven't found the verse that says,
"If you disbelieve a single thing, you have rejected it all?"
But of course, if you just remove that verse...lol.

I'd like to meet just ONE Christian who believes every single verse in the Bible and practices it on a daily basis.

Hey, I'd be the first to admit that that is not me. I just accept that the verses I don't get yet are just that--verses I don't get yet. I had a big prob with the Pharoah thing for years. Doubt I have seen all of its implications even now.
I had hoped to suck Aquila, and whomever, into a posit on "Original Sin," as I was raised with it just like everyone else, and only abandoned it recently. Chiefly by way of Augustine's other writings, via Matthew Fox.
(cue crickets please)
