Elected State and Congressional District Delegate

Well, I am in for Missouri Republican Party Delegate...

I will be seated at the congressional district meeting, but may need to seat an alternate at State, because of the timing with our anticipated baby.

OMG Obama Must Go!!

I had to laugh when I saw this. Congrats on the coming attraction and for being a delegate. You will need to keep us updated.

On the Santorum slate of delegates. Ron Paul and Romney folks came prepared, Santorum supporters were in a majority but unorganized, so we had to get it ready fast.

I knew you were a Santorum supporter. Romney and Paul's campaigns are well-oiled machines. It would be nice to stop Romney, but I honestly don't see it happening.

Re: Elected State and Congressional District Deleg

Missouri's Non-binding primary netted Santorum a majority of votes (55%) a few weeks ago. Today was our caucus which selected delegates who could be pledged to a candidate or not. Our local County took all for Santorum.

No "victory speech" for MO tonight. One would have to call each county chair for that info, and it would still not be binding because they CAN change their mind in future weeks.

Yes indeed! Paul's supporters declared an "uncommitted" slate ... LOL! The pony tails and diverse coalition they had gave them away.

After we got out slate together the others, realizing they were outnumbered, tried to abandon the slate election in favor of electing individuals... too late!

Politics is not nice. There were some Ron Paul and Romney folks who I had joined with in the past on various issues/votes. I hated that.

It is not nice at all! And I am not nice when I engage for any length of time. Push me, I will push you back!

I was talking to a friend of mine and we have decided we might need to pick up another hobby.

Before I do, and I never actually promised (lol), I hope you are keeping up with breitbart.com. They are unloading so much interesting information concerning the vetting of our current resident-in-chief and his cronies. Loving it! #IAmAndrewBreitbart That's a Twitter hashtag for those that don't get it. Viva la Breitbart!!!

Re: Elected State and Congressional District Deleg

Getting reports from quite a few larger county caucuses... Ron Paul supporters and Romney supporters teamed up to create split slates and deny Santorum wins. This may end up being RP's first state, after winning about ten% in the "primary".

Told you politics is not nice!
