Meditation
Along with prayer, what are some things that you meditate upon before or after prayer throughout the day?
Before I really speak to God I like to sit in silence and think about the death of Jesus Christ, His burial, His resurrection, and ascension in to heaven. I also like to think about what Jesus is doing right at the very moment in time (as we know time - though He not bound by time).
I like to think about behaviors I could focus on to conform more to the pattern of Christ's life and behavior.
Just out of curiosity, what are some things you meditate on throughout the day?

Re: Meditation
I live on a farm and spend my days in wonder at Gods creative ability. Just the fact that we were formed from the dust of the earth, that each creature is capable of bringing forth it's own kind in the miracle of birth, that life begins and ends for someone in each moment of every day... I see the miraculous everywhere I look... and I am in awe.... and striving to see God's plan for how I fit into my tiny piece of this present world in a way that pleases Him and where I will fit in eternity...

Re: Meditation
I love to listen to audio bibles and have the scriptures on my mind as I go through the day.

Re: Meditation
Usually today and tomorrow. What does He have in store for me. Those who are in need.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

That is definitely worth meditating upon. Sometimes I find myself meditating upon Texas Roadhouse, or Lambert's Cafe, or Bono's BBQ.

Indeed. The only home of the flying rolls. I've been to the one in Sikeston, MO a few times.

I'm not sure if this is the same location but my wife took my to the one in Springfield, MO, or at least you had to drive through Springfield to get to it. I normally do not like that sort of cooking but the food there was excellent! I would go back many times even without any thrown rolls.
