He is the most "real" man out there vying for the job.

Re: Is Cain for Real?
Funny! And some interesting coincidences I must say.
What is not funny is that the current white house occupant has refused to say the pledge, and has lifelong associations with those in anti American activities such as hate speech and bombings.

Racial politics return with Cain allegations

You can look back and find that I supported Cain in the beginning, but then I got to know him a little better.
The tables truly turned, for me, when Cain came put out racial allegations against Perry on the "rock" issue. No proof, but he wanted objectivity with his sexual allegations. Not only hypocritical, but the race card is getting old. Does he think no one will dare touch him in the Republican Party for fear of being labeled a racist? Think again, Herman. Principle trumps racism any day of the week.
In his comments to Christiana Amanpour, he showed his true character - not above lying and manipulation. He didn't check his facts before throwing out allegation. Bad form. What goes around, comes around.
Quote:
AMANPOUR: On the front page of the Washington Post today, there's a story about Rick Perry...
CAIN: Yes.
AMANPOUR: ... and a hunting lodge that belonged to his family, bought in the 1980s. And on a rock apparently near the entrance there, there is a word that is a very ugly racial word, a slur.
CAIN: Yes.
AMANPOUR: And it's been -- it's been painted over. But the report raises questions about whether this rock, this stone, with that word on it, was still on display even quite recently in the last several years. What is your reaction to that?
CAIN: My reaction is that is very insensitive. There are some words that do not basically inspire the kind of negativity like that particular word. And I know that you're refraining from saying that word, so I'm going to say what the word was on the rock. The name of the place was called "Niggerhead." That is very insensitive.
And since Governor Perry has been going there for years to hunt, I think that it shows a lack of sensitivity for a long time of not taking that word off of that rock and renaming the place. It's just basically a case of insensitivity.
AMANPOUR: It was painted over.
CAIN: Yes. It was painted over. But how long ago was it painted over? So I'm still saying that it is a sign of insensitivity.

Re: Is Cain for Real?
Seriously, why do politicians lie and cover-up? How many of the scandals the last 10-20 years had good outcomes?

So true!
They've tried to pin Perry with an affair and being gay. The thing is, he never folded up like an old suitcase during all the allegations being thrown around.
