'Til we meet again...
But what will you eat? Don't leave us hanging!

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves
Well, I ate a PB&J sandwich at home only to discover a bunch of gourmet pizzas were delivered for class tonight from a new pizza place, Chef Tony's Pizza (http://cheftonysgourmetpizza.com/). Both rounds of supper were good, especially the pizza!
Nothing to take for any after-effects. I'm good, Scott!
Hooive, just admit you're jealous since the attention's all on me now...
Houston, you are correct. My wall is blank, but that doesn't mean I won't post there. I almost did post something while in class but decided against it to err on the side of safety. Learning about narcotics tonight sure opened my eyes to things I never realized. There were plenty of moments of humor and laughter as well. It's been a blast so far. Next week, we're taking a trip to the Medical Examiner's office. That will be interesting...
No, I'm not...at least at this point. However, I'm sure this class would grab one's attention seeing it on a resume'. This class is solely for citizens who live or work here. It's strictly voluntary but gives skeletal insight on the daily ops of the force.
Other than the weekly class itself, we've toured the county courthouse, observed and rode along on the practice track, which was as thrilling as The Titan or Texas Giant at Six Flags.
Once the class ends in December, we'll all get the opportunity to become C.O.P.s (Citizens On Patrol), which means we'd either ride along with officers on patrol or patrol on our own. Obviously, there will be some formal training given what we could be exposed to. Or, work internally at the headquarters. But, I'll likely go for the streets.
I'm certainly looking forward to that aspect of it and whatever becomes of it down the road...
so you are going to put yourself in the line of fire, with no weapon?
