We have been called to have more Monday prayer meetings. This will heal our land if we humble ourselves.

I believe you've lost me on that one...

Hopefully, many people are already praying. IMO, Perry calling for prayer on a certain day further reflects the desires of many Texans, and I would hope the same for people in other states as well...

If we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways, then pray, He will heal our land. After 9/11 there was a lot of prayer. No change of heart however.

My church had called a Mon night prayer meeting on September 10. We had an entirely different view of 9/11 than people that hadn't remembered the last time they touched God.

So, what was your entirely different view on 9/11, having touched God?

Gotcha. I just like the principle effort Perry is making for everyone, everywhere to seek God's direction and for His healing...
