Ron Paul, super awesome or just awesome?

I love this man so much. Every time I hear him speak, I think of what a good President he would be.

He's interesting at least. I would be willing to hear more about him but it would take alot to shake my opinion that the guy is a little bit crazy... I retract that... very very crazy.

You know, that is the reaction most people have towards him. However, if you do read up on him, you will find he is really not crazy. He has some valid points, some very reasonable discussions. He has a few ideas that are off of the beaten path, but compared to a lot of bills introduced recently by GOP'ers, the man is stone cold sane.

Seriously though, go to any site like On the Issues, you can read about his platform. I am not in lock step with him on everything, but I am enough to vote for him in the primaries when offered a chance to.

That could be it. Crazy followers can turn people off of many things, politics, religion, Applebees. Definitely true.

The Ron Paulites are almost like religious fanatics, in some regards.

Maybe that's why I being drawn to some of his positions...
