Smartphone Apps

I'm currently learning how to develop Android Apps. Does anyone have any ideas for one they think would be cool?

An app that compensates for your weight and calculates the amount of alcohol in your system after each drink with a running clock that lets you know when you have processed enough alcohol to safely drive.

Great tool for those UPCI churches that use real wine for communion. Or did they all go WPF?

An app that clocks mileage for business trips or pastoral work in order to record your use of vehicle fuel for income tax purposes, in distinction from other casual use of your vehicle. (Give me a share in your royalties for the idea).

There is an app for checking pulse rate so can you develop one for blood pressure? How about a digital clock that is the same as the iPhone? I have searched and searched for a decent digital clock widget and cannot find a free one. How about a thermometer?

I love the idea. Do you know of any place with information on estimating BAC by weight and/or other factors?

There is no free digital clocks for android? That's something I'm definetely doing to have to try to make.

I'm amazed that pulse rate can be done. I would have no idea how to do blood pressure or even if the phone would have the hardware to do that.

Thermometer? Don't they already have a weather app that tells you the outside temperature?

Getting an app to give the mileage traveled shouldn't be too hard. However you would have to manually tell it when to start and stop keeping track of mileage.

Apple is a pain to develop for. However, I'm hoping to design whatever app i make so that it can be fairly easily ported to iphones.

My current idea is for a graphing calculator. I haven't found any apps that can do intersect/max/min/zero commands. All the ones that are called graphing calculators are scientific calculators that can display a graph.
