Have just been visiting my pastor
We have been so blessed to have spent 2 days with Pastor Bryan Taylor and his godly sweet wife. I told the church I read about so many people that have been hurt by pastors that I do not know why but God in his mercy and love let me grow up under one of the kindest men of God I have ever known.
Re: Have just been visiting my pastor
I started going to their church when I was 7...and am almost 60 today, they were just newlyweds back then...today they are in their 70's. A lot of water has run under the bridge. I have seen them pass through the fires of life, be done wrong. Spoken evil of and battle many situations. Never once did or have I heard them speak evil of others, they just smile and say, let’s pray for whoever it might have been.
No matter in deep valleys or on high mountains they have always had a smile and a good word to say about everybody.
I looked at their slowing pace the other night and thought...I have lived in the shadow of some hero’s...
I honor them and pray for God to make them strong to be with us longer.

What awesome words. You have just given something to your Pastor that money can't buy! Sometimes we wonder what we have accomplished and then words like yours answers that question in a way that nothing else compares to. Proud of you Sister Alvear and I know your Pastor is as well.
