Anyone vacationed in Montana/Dino Dig Route?

We are considering taking our children to Montana driving up from Yellowstone to the Glacier Park. One of the things we want to do is view as many sites and museums on the Dino Dig route.Has anyone done this? Can you give us some pointers on the best museums?

I saw the title and briefly thought you were talking about Montego Bay (Jamaica), then quickly realized it was Montana......

Don't know about Dino Digs, but if you go don't go too early. I was at Glacier a few years ago in late June and you still couldn't drive over the Going to the Sun Road.

Great advice Tro,

Gotta understand, Montana in June is still cold!

Specially up there next to Kalispell!

Okay so how about mid July? What is too soon. There is a map on Montanas site about
the Dino Trail. They have discovered many up there especially near the glacier.

June is fine. Not too cold. I took my family back there to see my old stomping grounds in June and it is a good time to go. July is fine also. Just go and enjoy "God's country"

I mapped some routes to day. The scenery is so beautiful. I am hoping to cross over into Canada. There are some great things to do there. I noticed a lot of white water rafting trips offered and also several dude ranches in operation.
