My Church Louisiana Style

We had the great preacher, Jerry Dean from Bossier City preach our district Men's Conference. This is the second year we have had him, he's awesome! Again this year he stayed over the weekend to preach our Sunday services at Capital Community and again he hit it out of the park. We have been having amazing church for quite a bit now and he just tapped into what has been happening.

click on Sunday PM "Prophetic Word" to see him and God do their thing.

Re: My Church Louisiana Style

Jerry Dean was my wifes pastor when we got married and he was the pastor that married us.

After what I have been through over the last 2 decades the list of men I have a high level of respect for is a mighty short list.

Jerry Dean... is a lifetime member of that list.

I have been to Mens Conference with him, stayed in the dorms with the Bossier City group and been around him off & on for 2 decades now and Jerry Dean is real, considerate, respectful, prayerful, honest and when he brings a message from the word you will certainly be blessed by it.

I also know Stacy... he has a powerful ministry... as does his wife. When was evangelizing at a church we attended his wife spoke on some Sunday mornings before he spoke.

Powerfully moving and anointed words she shared. Both of them are great ministers.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
