I haven't listened to Rush since the early 90's. I am not a ditto head... that is for sure.

But... he did well. I enjoyed it. I watched it on youtube yesterday.

But... I was out of state this weekend and they were televising CPAC and I caught a good portion of LaPierre from NRA.

WOW.... that guy showed some scary stuff on the way some of these crazy people are thinking toward gun control.

How did America sink to such lows.

That is the key word.... we "allowed" it to happen.

They were able to do that because "conservatives" curled up into fetal positions and quivered at the fright of the Industrial Revolution. For the most part, we've been holed up in the hills ever since (and the hills are kind of nice

But, things are changing. A few lug nuts have noticed things like developments in quatum physics 100 years ago and in psychology and linguistics about 50 years ago have completely changed the playing field in academia.

Unfortunately we've been a little slow taking advantage of the "newer" discoveries because they do involve big and confusing words like "linguistics" and "quantum;" but we're getting there.

I haven't listened to Rush or Hannity in over a year, but watched some of his speech and read the transcript. Good speech.

Though it was incredibly stupid of the new RNC Chairman Steele to go on the morning show and attack Rush. He sounded whiny ... "I'm the de facto head of the Republican Party."

Steele lost some of my support with his criticism. Then again, I didn't know much about him to begin with.
