If you were starting a new church and God offered to give you 50 people to start with, either new converts or older saints, which would you take and why?

I'll take the newbies, and mold them into my own image. A little army of Timmies! Imagine! Mwahahahaha!!

I would ask God to give me 25 old saints and 25 new saints. The old saints for the new saints to learn from.God being the center of all things. Everybody would be out knocking on doors with a whole lot of praying and fasting. We would go out and feed the homeless, the motherless, the widow, the drug addict. We would open a home for the orphan, and the homless and any other down trodden soul that needs our help, and through the help of all mighty God we would build our church on the rock and not on the sand.

I knew someone would want to ride the fence but the question was either new or old,not both. (If you couldnt lead them by yourself you could always get an assistant)

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message
