Gang War In B.C.
Six shootings in six days with four of them fatal.
There has been about 50 murders in the last 6 months-all gang related!
We are in the midst of a turf war.
What is getting bad is the brazenness of the killings & the weapons used, one employed a machine gun.
I gotta move to the States and be safe!

Apparently, there is not enough moral outrage over the sad predicament.
Once "main stream BC" becomes personally affected by the epidemic, then the police and the government will be sure to respond "STRONG", employing policies that contain instead of eradicate the violence.

In the eighties & nineties in Quebec, they had gang warfare & violence until people got fed up & the Government appointed a Special Prosecutor to go after the Gangs.
Many of them are behind bars with sentences from 20 years - life!

In your opinion, is that the proper solution for what BC is experiencing-- just round up all the perpetrators and lock them away and throw away the key?

If they are toting machine guns and are not in uniform or displaying an insignia then they are illegally waging war, according to the Geneva Conventions. They should be shipped off to Gitmo for the duration.
Or do as the Brits did to Nathan Hale when they found him making war out of uniform - they hanged him from the nearest tree. Summary execution is what the Geneva Conventions call for.

I'd be in favor of putting these crimnals on a deserted island in the depths of the pacific ocean with no hope or possibility of escaping.
That's how Australia got started. England dumpted their crimnals out there. The Aussies are decendants of those outcasts, if I rightly recall history.

If they don't do something soon, an innocent victim is going to get killed and then it is really going to blow!
