We have this new puppy...

She is a mixed breed of Welsh Corgi and Miniature Schnauzer. A customer of mine gave her to me for my boys. Anybody know anything about either of these breeds or want to speculate on what kind of characteristics she will have? I have never had either kind of dog and don't really know the temperment of either one.

I am no expert on dogs but she sure looks cute.
All I know about Corgis is that the Queens has them.

I like them for the protection factor. Most burglars don't like barking dogs, even little ones. dogs seem to be able to sense danger before we do.

Yes, they do. My daughter has a huge white Pit Bull. Very awesome and fun dog.

My husband doesn't like them barking at night when he is trying to sleep.

Our dog sleeps in his cage at night and never, ever barks. As long as he's locked in, I think he feels like HE is safe, so all is well
