For those of you that are interested, I thought I'd give y'all a quick update on what all has happened in the last 7 or 8 weeks.
For now, moving to TN is out. I got to visit the church in Murfreesboro and really enjoyed it. It was the first time, since growing my beard, that I actually felt welcome at an apostolic church. We were making plans to move this summer, I started checking into jobs in the area, and that's when I realized that we would need some help in finding a place to move to once we got there. Well, the economics of having to make several trips back and forth, in search of housing, proved to be the downfall of us moving there, at least for now. (Motels and whatnot can be expensive and we had "X" amount of dollars to pull this off.) Anyway, I am leaning towards making a few "get to know the area better" trips between now and this time next year, and I will take things from there.
I recently started working from home, thanks to a tip provided to me by Lady Rev. (Thank you!
) I take calls from different companies, providing services from order taking to sales to scheduling service repairs. I really like it and am trying to get things worked out where I can work this at least 40 hours per week. This week is the first week that I managed to get myself scheduled for just over 40 hours, so things are looking up in this regard.
My wife finished her GED training and took the big test this week on Monday and Tuesday. She is gonna hit the job trail starting next week and I hope she finds a job soon. Both of us being home like this so much can be stressful! LOL!
Well, that's about it. There's more I could go into but I was asked not to, so I won't.
