Re: How Much Did you Spend On Christmas???(POLL)

I'm not going to give an exact amount, but we didn't use credit for anything--everything was carefully budgeted way in advance, and I only went over a teensy bit. (Jeff's fault!!!!) Soooo...I'd say we feel pretty good about it.

We don't feel pressured to fulfill our kids' every wish. We buy what we can, stuff stockings, and call it a day.

Is that the amount you spent last year? If so there is a poll answer for you

Is it really good for the soul to confess such? I spent considerably over $1,000.

I kept it under $1000. I shopped sales and spread the spending out over several months.

I'm not going to say how much I spent, but it was carefully budgeted and all done in cash!

Nothing on credit this year - Thankfully. Though I posted "Over One Thousand" I should clarify it generally includes an essential large purchase for myself and my wife. Last year an espresso machine, and this year a shuffleboard and a foosball table.
