Holidays in the bible

I thought this would be a good place to discuss bible holidays. I used an online resource a few years back to teach my daughters about them and about their fullfillment on Jesus Christ. I found this on the web and it has free pages to color and crafts to do that you can get online. I am going to buy the book this year though as I have two little boys to teach.

I don't feel we have to keep these holidays but it sure was fun to do and the children enjoyed them. I was given an electric plug in Mennorah from Isreal by a lady in the church. I have used it this year for Hannukah. We have three more days to go for Hannukah. The boys have loved the little gifts I have given them. They look forward to it and each night we add a new bulb to our Mennorah. They wanted to light our one with candles but its too dangerous for them when I head out to work. This one at least I know won't fall over. I don't propose anyone return to Hebrew roots but its really nice to study and add to your knowledge bank as a Christian.

Jesus celebrated Hannukah.
It is also called the Feast of Dedication.
We can find him at the Temple on this day
in John the 10th chapter.
