Please pray for my dad; he's 79 and was in St. Louis with my brother Scott and his family and he passed out at the food court at the mall. The ambulance came and took him to Missouri Baptist Hospital, and his blood pressure was about 60/40. This has actually happened several times when he gets dehydrated and his potassium is low. At least that's what they've said in the past. Today they are checking his heart for strange rhythms. His blood pressure is back up some, but not where it should be after lying still for hours and pumping in 2-1/2 bags of fluids.
He has passed out in Orlando, Maui, my brother's church in St. Louis, various and sundry restaurants, my guest bathroom, his own bathroom, and several other places I can't think of right off the bat. He has only hurt himself once when he fell, and that was minor. But it's getting kind of scary; he could keel over anywhere. Also pray for my mom; this is hard on her; she's afraid to leave him alone.

I will pray for your Dad, Sherri.

Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Praying Sherri. The exact same thing has been going on with my Mother this last year. It seems to happen more often right after she eats. Her blood pressure will drop to 60/40.
Our heart beats are in the hands of our Father and His ways are righteous.

Better to watch them get old then not to be able to see them at all. I lost my Dad last February. I'm pray right now for yours!!!!
Thanks for putting it into perspective!
My dad was the picture of health until he was 70. He looked to be in his fifties, was an astute businessman, played golf every day, was witty, etc. Then he had a blood clot in his brain and a MAJOR stroke. We thought we had lost him. He was like a vegetable for two months, and doesn't remember any of that time. He gradually came back, but it aged him about 20 years. We are so thankful to have him around, even though he's a little wobbly. LOL He's really a miracle; the doctors didn't think he'd ever be able to do anything again and that was almost nine years ago now.

I wept at work Saturday as I was thinking about Christmas past, (I was there by myself). I sure miss him.
Sounds like God is working well on your Dad's behalf!!!!
