14 December 1871-Frank Bartleman, chronicler of the Azusa Street revival, born near Carversville, Pennsylvania.December 1900-Bethel Bible School students begin studying the Bible evidence of Spirit baptism.

22 December 1904
-Frank Bartleman arrived in Los Angeles, California.

20 December 1913-The call for a gathering of “Pentecostal Saints and Churches of God in Christ” was issued in the Word and Witness. The meeting resulted in the formation of the Assemblies of God.

19 December 1915– Oliver Franklin Fauss, former United Pentecostal Church Assistant General Superintendent, was baptized in the Name of Jesus.

28 December 1916-Large group of Oneness ministers met in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The group formed the General Assembly of Apostolic Assemblies 2 January 1917.

6 December 1933-T.F. Tenney, former United Pentecostal Church youth president and former District Superintendent of Louisiana, was born in DeRidder, Louisiana.

December 1955–Special meeting of the Executive Board of the Pentecostal Assmeblies of the World was held in Columbus, Ohio to reaffirm the organization’s stand for Oneness and refute the aberrant teachings of Samuel N. Hancock.

20 December 1968-Groundbreaking ceremony for present United Pentecostal Church headquarters on Dunn Road in Hazelwood, Missouri. Mrs. Arthur T. Morgan, wife of former UPC General Superintendent, turned the first shovel of dirt.

3 Decemeber 1982- Fannie Haywood Ellis the only child of the late Bishop G.T. and Ida Haywood dies in Indianapolis at age 80.

2 December 1892- Bishop Oscar Haywood Sanders of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World born in Lanoke, Arkansas.

14 December 1988- Bishop Benjamin Thomas Moore of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and former pastor of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly dies in Indianapolis.

27 December 1989- Presiding Bishop Elzie William Young of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith dies in Cincinnati, Ohio.

I've been to his church, sat on the platform, but never preached for him.
