Is it just me ?
I have noticed [not so much here] but others I have talked to who have voted for Obama are very militant acting when defending " why " they voted for Him ? I know everyone is allowed to have their own opinion, but it is the manner in which they come across trying to defend their point.

I think they feel he is unjustly accused of many things, and so they think they should defend him. IMO.
I feel if you think you are voting for the right candidate, they should not need defending.

You are probably right. I tell people right off they are entitled to have their own opinion. They just seem to be very defenceive about it.

I had not ever discussed politics on a forum before this year. Maybe that's why I was so surprised how high emotions seem to run about the candidates.

An Illegal at my husband's workplace asked him if he was voting for Obama. He said, "No, I'm voting for McCain."
Illegal: "Why? He is going to help the poor people."
My husband said, "That's what is wrong with this country. People need to quit looking for handouts and find a job."
